France is fully committed to developing advanced AI technology. Frank Huang, chairman of Power Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd., suggested to President Macron that he should follow the example of the United States and make good use of Taiwan's strong semiconductor and IT industry platform to cooperate to strengthen France's future technological strength in independent innovation.

PSMC Chairman Frank Huang was invited to Paris on the 13th to participate in the "France's leadership in AI and Quantum" roundtable hosted by French President Macron. The summit, introduced by French Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno LE MAIRE, included ASML CEO Christophe FOUQUET and senior executives of European and American technology companies such as IBM, Amazon, IQM, ACCENTURE, MISTRAL AI, as well as managers of sovereign funds such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. A total of ten international financial industry leaders attended a roundtable meeting to discuss future trends with senior French government officials. Dr. Frank Huang is the only business representative from East Asia invited to attend the meeting.

Frank Huang said that during the development of the high-tech industry, American technology companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA have been relying on Taiwan's highly efficient IT manufacturing platform to promote global operations. An important technical support base.  CEO Jensen Jen-Hsun Huang has visited Taiwan many times in recent years to seek technical and manufacturing support from Taiwan’s semiconductor industry. If France can also make good use of Taiwan’s established platform advantages and operational experience, it will surely be able to gain cooperation and mutual benefits in terms of technology, cost, and services.

Frank Huang emphasized that France has excellent basic technological strength, but the relationship between Taiwan and France has not been as close as the relationship between Taiwan and the United States. This is a pity for both sides. France can use Taiwan's advantages to transform them into French advantages, and manage the world in future technological fields such as AI.
